Good news for thrill-seekers: the Descente Infernale is back in 2025. Initially cancelled, the event was saved thanks to a financial boost from the Avaricum shopping center, which stepped up its support to make it possible.
The Descente Infernale de Bourges is a soapbox race held every year in the city center. Launched in 2015, it consists of a 437-meter descent down the Marceau ramp with obstacles. Participants compete in three categories: individuals, students/schools and companies, with caisses meeting strict technical criteria.
