Every year in March, the Festival Regards d'Ailleurs takes the public on a journey. For its 22nd edition, the festival takes us to the heart of South America. Welcome to Brazil!
From March 5 to April 2, it's time for sunny colors, samba rhythms and joie de vivre at France's longest-running film festival in honor of Brazil. South America's largest country invites us to Drouais to discover the richness of its culture and cinema. Over a hundred screenings are scheduled to discover the work of Brazilian filmmakers and actors.
As guest of honor, the Festival will welcome Walter Salles. The multi-award-winning Brazilian director will be on hand from March 27 to present his latest film at the CinéCentre, Je suis toujours là (I’m Still Here), which at the time of writing has been nominated for an Oscar but may well win an award by the time of his visit, we hope.
