FESTIVAL ÉMERGENCES

Jazz has always been associated with other musical aesthetics, and has always reinvented itself alongside them. For this 23rd edition, the Émergences festival is opening up to new horizons, building on the protean jazz of electronic music, hip-hop and Maloya, little represented in the region, with a more festive program representing a more eclectic jazz with explosive mixes.

The festival opens up to the international scene by welcoming the English collective Tomorrow?s Warriors, which has been training young female musicians for over 30 years, and to ultra-Marine musicians with saxophonist and flautist Emy Potonié; and opens up to new artistic forms, with a screening in partnership with the Ciné-Club Musique and the Studio cinemas …
