The Médiathèque Équinoxe presents a new exhibition on the creation of the Indian stereotype, featuring archives from Buffalo Bill's Wild West, heliogravures by Edward S. Curtis, and examples from popular culture.
Digital resources, exceptional works from the collections of the Musée du Nouveau Monde in La Rochelle, films, engravings and historical objects: all to clarify the history of North America?s aboriginal peoples and their place in history. An exhibition to reflect on the concept of colonization and revise our American dream.
