Boticelli: Two Madonnas at Chambord" exhibition. An unsuspected treasure from the church of Saint-Félix in Champigny-en-Beauce, La Vierge à l'Enfant avec le jeune saint Jean-Baptiste, originally dated to the 19th century, has recently been authenticated as an original 16th-century work from the studio of Italian painter Sandro Botticelli (1445-1510). Thanks to an exceptional loan from the Uffizi Gallery, the work will be exhibited in the château chapel alongside its model in the Pitti Palace in Florence.
