Fish farming in the Brenne region has been a traditional activity since the Middle Ages, and contributes to the enhancement of the area through its players, who are involved in a complete chain from the birth of fry to the finished product.
Pond fishing in the Brenne, a key stage in fish farming, is one of the highlights of the year. It generally begins in October and ends in February.
Join us on a guided tour of the region?s fish farms, where you will be exceptionally welcome to fish on their ponds. The tour ends with a tasting of products made from pond fish.
