THE HISTORY OF WOMEN Lecture by Anne Debal-Morche, heritage curator and president of the Cercle Ambacia. In 1974, the commune of La Ville-aux-Dames decided to name its streets exclusively after women. Among the hundred or so names currently in existence, only certain women will be evoked: some linked to the history of Touraine, or of France, some deserving to be better known for the role they played in the emancipation of women, and for their desire to hold a place equivalent to that of men in society. This event is organized by the Pays d?art et d?histoire Loire Touraine. Reservations recommended.
