“Everest Green” is a film about the eponymous expedition that began on April 5, 2017 in Nepal to clean up the slopes of Everest and promote responsible mountaineering. Ten sherpas evacuated up to 4 tons of waste from the high-altitude camps. Behind the story of the expedition, it?s an environmental and social emergency that Everest Green highlights, highlighting the incompatibility of mountain values and the open-air dumps that line the Himalayas today.
