Black Label

Starting with Black-Label, a powerful poem of negritude written in 1956 by Léon-Gontran Damas, actor and rapper JoeyStarr and director David Bobée, a favorite at Équinoxe, take on the great writings of anti-racist poetry, accompanied by jazz musician and singer Sélène Saint-Aimé and singer and dancer Nicolas Moumbounou. Alongside them, deaf artist Jules Turlet translates into sign language.
