Artiste en résidence – Charlotte Taboyer en concert

On stage, a chair and a microphone on a stand, a few props, hanging, as if forgotten or waiting too. A white accordion, a bucket. And so begins Peut-être que j?ai dormi. Before the audience enters, before the doors close, before the lights go out and everyone tries to see better in the dark, Albertine Lumière appears in the half-light of the theater, addressing the stage manager, rehearsing gestures and words, waiting. Tonight, she'll be playing "Miss Gariguette ramène sa fraise", but for now, she's getting ready for this appointment unlike any other, with others, remaking the world, her world, in the final moments before the audience enters.
At the heart of this expectation, like a response to an all-too-serious world, another word is spoken.
