This course covers the use of basketry in public and private green spaces
public and private green spaces. Supervised by Babeth Ollivier, nature educator and trainer (Folle Brindille).

Over the course of four days, you'll identify and collect a wide variety of local plants and learn the different techniques for preparing these materials for weaving. You'll then create a variety of structures: plessis, teepees, fences, chairs, cabins, etc., all using different weaving techniques. You'll learn how to create useful, aesthetic and environmentally-friendly structures that can be installed in gardens, natural areas or urban parks.
